Our visit to Lesvos, Mytilene was a journey of discovery and collaboration under the project REST_ART co-funded by the EU. From discovering environmental sustainability at the Kalloni Environmental Information Center to engaging in creative discussions with professors at Aegean University, our journey is filled with innovative approaches to pressing environmental challenges. At the heart of our experience lies hands-on engagement at the Mosaik Support Center, where we craft products from recycled materials and participate in workshops on d-origamography. Through projects like the Solidarity Kitchen and Safe Passage workshops, we witness the profound impact of community-driven initiatives in empowering individuals and fostering unity. This journey underscores the importance of environmental education, community involvement, and cultural exchange in addressing societal and environmental issues. By embracing collaboration and diversity, we strive towards a more sustainable and inclusive future.
