PROJECT

Environmental awareness is critical to understanding the fragility of our planet and the need to protect it. However, traditional communication methods may not be sufficient to effectively engage audiences. REST _ART takes a "radical uncanniness" approach, inspired by Rancière's principles, to refocus and reinvent political engagement through art. Artworks with powerful visual impact can leave a lasting impression on people's minds and inspire them to action like never before.

Objectives:
Through our project, we aim to achieve the following objectives:
• Introduce young people and youth workers to environmental awareness
• By targeting youth workers, young people and people with fewer opportunities, REST _ART aims to create a generation that deeply understands the importance of environmental protection.
• Create artwork from single-use plastic to combat plastic waste
• Through creative expression, REST _ART will use single-use plastic as a medium to highlight the urgent need to reduce plastic waste and promote sustainable practices.
• Promote the adoption of best practices to reduce plastic waste
By showcasing effective practices, REST _ART will inspire individuals, communities and organizations to use environmentally friendly alternatives and reduce their plastic footprint.

Target Groups:

Our project aims to target the following audiences
- Youth workers: to equip youth workers with knowledge and tools to drive environmental awareness initiatives in their communities.
- Youth and young people with fewer opportunities: Educate and inspire young people to care for the environment and actively participate in sustainability efforts.
- Youth Organizations: Collaborate with youth organizations to increase the reach and impact of the project through joint initiatives.
- General public: raise awareness of environmental issues among the general public and encourage them to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
